Customs Declarations Terms of Agreement
This term of agreement will explain what will be included in the Customs Broker services (‘SUBCRIBE’ & ‘PAY AS YOU GO’).
1.‘SUBSCRIBE’.
1.a.) Services.
The SUBSCRIBE option is to provide customs clearances for both import and export entries to and from the UK performed by the Customs Broker on behalf of the Customer. The subscription service will also include:
• A dedicated account Manager (one customs clerk employed by the Customs Broker to deal with and process the custom clearances on behalf of the Customer)
• Reduced customs entries (custom entry fees are charged at a discounted rate to anyone who is not on the Subscription) (full charges listed in section B)
• Prioritised customs entries (custom entries will be prioritised over anyone who is not on this service)
1.b.) Charges.
The Subscription comes with a monthly fee of £195 + VAT that is set up via a direct debit.
Custom entry fees on the subscription will be charged at a discounted rate; rates can be seen below:
• £45 per entry (import into UK from EU country)
• £45 per entry (export from UK to EU country)
• £45 per entry (export from UK to 3rd Country)
• £45 per entry (import into UK from 3rd Country)
**3 commodities are included in each customs entry; any commodity thereafter will be charged at £3.50 each**
1.c.) Excluded.
• Import taxes and/duties.
• HMRC transfer fee (£20 charge if we transfer funds on your behalf to HMRC)
• Port charges (any local handling fee’s that may be charged form the port or the shipping line) (e.g. THC, port charges, Infrastructure etc.)
• Haulage
• Freight
• Detention/demurrage/quay rent
• Custom inspection charges
1.d.) Credit terms.
The monthly subscription fee will be taken out of the account set up on the direct debit every month and an invoice will follow on the same day. An invoice for the customs entries will be sent to you once each declaration has been completed. A statement will be sent to you at the end of each month for payment by the last day of that month. If payment is not received by the last day of that month then your account will be put on hold and no declarations will be completed until payment has been received.
The 30 days credit is not applicable for any of the below:
• Any import taxes and/or duties
• HMRC transfer fee (£20 charge if we transfer funds on your behalf to HMRC)
• Port charges (any local handling fee’s that may be charged form the port or the shipping line) (e.g. THC, port charges, Infrastructure etc.)
• Haulage
• Freight
• Detention/demurrage/quay rent
• Custom inspection charges
1.e.) Information & documentation required.
For us to complete customs declarations on your behalf, we will require the below information:
• Port of arrival
• Estimated arrival date
• Trailer/container number
• Commodity codes
• Piece count
• Values
• Weights
• Incoterms
• Transport cost (depending on incoterm)
• Importer name and address
• Importers EORI number
• Consignors name and address
If we do not have all of this information, then we may not be able to process your customs declarations.
2.’PAY AS YOU GO’.
2.a.) Services.
The PAY AS YOU GO service is to provide customs clearances for both import and export entries to and from the UK performed by the Customs Broker on behalf of the Customer. The PAY AS YOU GO service will also include:
• An extremely experienced and professional customs clerk to complete your declaration.
• Customs clerk completed very quickly and efficiently.
2.b.) Charges.
Custom entry fees on the pay as you go can be seen below:
• £90 per entry (import into UK from EU country)
• £90 per entry (export from UK to EU country)
• £90 per entry (export from UK to 3rd Country)
• £90 per entry (import into UK from 3rd Country)

2.c.) Excluded.
• Import taxes and/duties.
• HMRC transfer fee (£20 charge if we transfer funds on your behalf to HMRC)
• Port charges (any local handling fee’s that may be charged form the port or the shipping line) (e.g. THC, port charges, Infrastructure etc.)
• Haulage
• Freight
• Detention/demurrage/quay rent
• Custom inspection charges
2. d.) Credit terms.
No credit terms applicable. Payment must be made prior to services being initiated.
2.e) Information & documentation required.
For us to complete customs declarations on your behalf, we will require the below information:
• Port of arrival
• Estimated arrival date
• Trailer/container number
• Commodity codes
• Piece count
• Values
• Weights
• Incoterms
• Transport cost (depending on incoterm)
• Importer name and address
• Importers EORI number
• Consignors name and address
If we do not have all of this information, then we may not be able to process your customs declarations.
Refunding
SUBSCRIBE services your payment will be non refundable – cancelling need be in writing and 30 days notice period
please allow 14 days for the fund can react your account
PAY AS YOU GO services cancelation will incur a fees of £50 administration fees
